Q. Is your service secure and reliable?
A. Yes. The InBuildings service uses a reliable, always-on T1 to deliver high-speed Internet access. zNET also offers firewall protection as an option.

Q. Will I have to purchase any additional equipment to receive your services?
A. The installation fee will include the costs of any equipment necessary to connect your office to the Internet. Additional equipment may need to be purchased to network all of your computers or network printers. Typically, we will provide free hardware and installation when we first introduce the service to your building.

Q. How can I get zNET services?

Q. Who do I contact if my connection goes down?
A. zNET monitors all of its circuits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We'll likely be aware of any downed circuit and be working to repair it long before any of our customers notice. Of course, you can always call us anytime of the day or night at 800-438-9638 to report any problems.

Q. Will the other people in my building be able to get into my computer?
A. No. Our network management technology insures that your suite's network will be separate and insulated from other networks we provide in the same building.

Q. Is the connection speed going to vary the way it does with cable modem connections?
A. The zNET InBuildings service is designed to give you up to 1.5 Mbps (T1). Depending on data traffic in your building, your speed may vary. zNET guarantees that you will always receive at least 256Kbps download speed. Our service is scalable. In other words we can increase the capacity of the high speed link to your building if needed as more tenants subscribe to the service.

Q. What if I don't like the service and I want to cancel?
A. We require a month-to-month Service Agreement. You may cancel with 7 days' written notice.

Q. Is a contract required?
A. This service does not require a one-year contract, unlike many dedicated circuit access services. You will sign a month-to-month Service Agreement which allows us to automatically bill your credit card or checking account. You may cancel with 7-days written notice.

Q. What if there are no extra telephone wires going to the tenants' offices?
A. We have the capability of "layering" our service over an existing voice line if necessary. In most cases we'll install wiring at our cost if necessary but the beauty of "InBuildings" technology is that we can deploy high speed access over POTS (plan old telephone service) copper wiring already in your building.
